I tried to research to see if there is any specific meaning to elephants in the world of Origami but i did not come across anything other then the paper crane and frog. But i went on and found that in many cultures, the elephant represents grace, prosperity, power, loyalty and wisdom. Some believe, including me that when you decorate or have some kind of elephant picture, statue, etc. in your house, the trunk pointing UP brings you good luck. Pointing DOWN is bad luck.

That is very cool, but couldnt you just use a piece of paper the same shape as a dollar bill? And if i could make a suggestion i would say use a 100 dollar bill and give it away to the person that could fold the best!
ReplyDeleteYep you could just use or cut out a piece of paper that is the same size as a dollar bill. If i were the person asked to fold that 100 i'd say i "lost" it. :) I'm just kidding!
